Supervises outpatient procedures (e.g., long-acting reversible contraceptives, endometrial biopsy, skin/nail procedures, joint injections), and manages specific conditions (addiction, lifestyle medicine) as appropriate to the ACGME and the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) requirements. Dedicates at least 40% of the time (minimum 16 hours/week or 800 hours/year) to the residency program needs (precepting, cosigning, faculty development, fulfilling residency needs and administrative time), exclusive of patient care without residents, as required by ACGME.
