Promotes, consults, and may champion process improvement initiatives, which may include, but not limited to, the Institutes for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), Chronic disease models, integration of care, the Indian Health Service (IHS) - Improvement in Patient Care (IPC), and patient centered medical home models. The Physician role coordinates clinical care, in collaboration with the Primary Care Health Systems Administrator for the Dena'ina Wellness Center (DWC) Medical Program to ensure that quality care is provided.
