Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Network Engineer responsibilities: • Planning and design of the customer premise equipment to support the telecommunications solution for the Remote Telecommunication Infrastructure Replacement (RTIR) project • Project managing the CPE design release and implementation schedule for over one thousand sites • Interface and coordinate with appropriate implementation engineering groups to ensure designs and implementations meet the project requirements and delivery dates • Maintain operational excellence of network systems and components during project execution • Monitor equipment and material inventory availability and provide accurate forecasting to procurement for purchase planning • Identify areas of opportunity for automation, process improvement and network optimization • Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) experience a plus Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent of a 4-year accredited degree in a technical discipline. Work independently on projects from start to finish, including planning and design of the customer premise equipment to support the telecommunications solution for the Remote Telecommunication Infrastructure Replacement (RTIR) project required to implement equipment and services deliverables for the FTI Network.
