The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.RequirementsTHE POSITION:We are seeking coaches for our multi-sport enrichment program. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nations largest multi sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. New Coaches can work *5-25 classes a week, earn $25/hr . Our programs come with ready made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!<ul><li>Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success</li><li>Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach so ensure classes are fun and we</li><li>create a stress-free environment</li><li>Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and</li><li>celebrate success</li><li>And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by attending trainings and follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual & Curriculum</li></ul>THE SCHEDULE:The majority of classes are held during the morning and early afternoon hours as well as weekends. Amazing Athletes is the country’s most popular educational sports program for children ages 2 to 12 and offer classes year-round. Classes are scheduled in blocks starting from 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM, M-F with Saturday options available. We have multiple coaching positions available in Las Vegas & Henderson, NV. Apply today!<h3>Salary:</h3>Compensation starts at $26 per hour and goes up to $34 per hour depending on your experience and commitment.<h3>Job duties and Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Show up on time to class and be physically and mentally prepared (including commuting time).</li><li>Interacting with parents, teachers, directors, children and management on a daily basis.</li><li>Teach and conduct classes in a fun and structured way while challenging each child to help them accomplish motor development goals. </li><li>Provide individual and group instruction to children 2-12 years of age. </li><li>Understanding responsibilities while the children are under your supervision.</li><li>Maintaining up-to-date class rosters.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to local schools with your own reliable transportation.</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check.</li><li>Must be fun, energetic, patient, attentive and reliable.</li><li>Passion for sports/fitness and working with children.</li><li>Prior experience working with children is a plus! (Preschool teachers, camp counselors, elementary education substitute teachers, coaches, stay at home mom's, etc.)</li><li>Background in fitness a plus!
