Key Responsibilities and Priorities:<ul><li>Safety is our number one priority. This role will promote safety culture through participation in the weekly safety toolbox talks.</li></ul><ul><li>Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers</li></ul><ul><li>Identify new sources of supply to develop supply chain competition</li><li>Improve existing supplier’s performance</li><li>Work with Planning on demand requirements and lead time expectations</li><li>Work with Sales and Customer Service to ensure costs are competitive with our market competition</li><li>Negotiate costs with suppliers utilizing available market information</li><li>Identify and complete cost saving projects</li><li>Ensure timely delivery through supply and carrier follow-ups</li></ul>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:<ul><li>Knowledge of supply chain management concepts</li><li>Comfortable with ERP System</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Strong negotiation skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure</li></ul>Years of Experience Required:2-4 years of experience in the field or related areaEducation Requirements:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field   Certifications:  CPIM Preferred    REQUIREMENTS (Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands):Ability to work on a PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the work day.Disclaimer:  Job responsibilities and requirements can change at any time.
