If you like interacting with people from all over the world, have a friendly, outgoing personality, and an interest in performing in theatre or improv, then this may be the position for you.We seek friendly, courteous people with exceptional customer service skills who enjoy engaging with the public in an interactive manner and can learn a basic script, which includes both historical information and a narrative theme.The right person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody Hornblowers RESPECT Service System.Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Learn the basic script for the narration and prepare your own verbalization of the ride through the Lake</li><li>Actor/Deckhands are provided with a basic script, but some leeway is given to inject your own personality and company-approved supplemental material</li><li>Deliver an engaging and informative experience on the vessel using a wireless mic in front of the passengers</li><li>Greet and interact with passengers in a friendly, courteous manner</li><li>The Actor/Deckhands play the role of congenial host, greeting guests with a smile and bidding them farewell at the end of the cruise</li><li>Responsible for cleaning all parts of the vessel, including between trips and at the end of each shift</li><li>Learn and perform important maritime skills, such as safely throwing and tying lines, emergency procedures, and more</li><li>Take part in safety drills and work in cooperation with the captain and crew of the vessel</li><li>Arrive to work on time and punch in and out on the companys time clock system</li><li>Communicate clearly with other departments and personnel</li><li>Additional job duties assigned</li></ul>Requirements & Qualifications<ul><li>Ability to learn and memorize information and to deliver an engaging story-like tour</li><li>Ability to express anecdotes in a clear and coherent delivery style and to engage with audience members/customers in a humorous yet family-friendly way</li><li>Capacity to keep calm and maintain a pleasant demeanor in a busy, fast-paced work environment</li><li>Tolerance for getting wet over the course of a typical shift. Seadog is a high-powered splash boat that travels at high speeds and truly makes waves</li><li>Ability to stay on your feet for lengthy periods of time</li><li>Theatre or improv experience can be helpful but is not necessary. Predictive Maintenance Technician - Corn Plant, Decatur, ILThis is an Non-Exempt level position.Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, UtilitiesPosition Summary:The Predictive Maintenance Technician is responsible for developing and/or implementing, lubrication routes, oil sampling routes, oil filtering, ultrasonic motor greasing and repairs of lubrication systems. The Technician will read schematic diagrams and manuals to understand and troubleshoot the different oil systems for the machines within corn plant.The Technician will support the development, installation, and implementation of on-line condition monitoring systems in lubrication or vibration intended to monitor the health of equipment identified as critical to the success of Corn Plant processes.The Predictive Maintenance Technician will serve as a coach and mentor in support of training efforts relative to skill development of other Corn Plant personnel responsible for maintaining and/or operating the process and utility equipment.Job Responsibilities:<ul><li>Complete lubrication daily routes in each Department</li><li>Utilize computer systems Pi vision to trend and analyze data, identify failure modes and equipment history to address repetitive failures</li><li>Conduct ultrasound motor greasing, oil sample collection and analysis (this includes completing oil filtration and drain and fills as required) to monitor all corn plant equipment</li><li>Understands their role in food safety and quality systems, actively participates in food safety efforts and ensures all activities conform to good manufacturing practices</li><li>Monitor equipment conditions, report findings, and thoroughly document issues</li><li>Communicate and work effectively with multiple levels of leadership and departments to coordinate Predictive Maintenance work order completion</li><li>Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement</li><li>Actively conduct inventory management and cleanliness of lubrication room</li><li>Assist in the training of other colleagues</li><li>Maintain knowledge of equipment, operations, and processes throughout the plant</li><li>Work with vendors/contractors for process improvements</li><li>Effectively navigate through the Maximo system (CMMS) including creating work orders, entering MR's, searching Assets, reviewing backlog, documenting issues and corrective actions</li><li>Troubleshoot maintenance issues throughout the facility</li><li>Participate in Daily Safety Toolbox Talks, Meetings, and respond to email as necessary</li><li>Perform duties in a safe manner, utilizing all approved safety equipment, and PPE (Required PPE includes; Hard Hat, Steel Toe Boots, Eye protection, Hearing protection, gloves, and wear provided uniform daily)</li></ul>Required Skills:<ul><li>Understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance</li><li>Assist in Identifying and resolving chronic mechanical asset concerns (bad actors)</li><li>Support root cause analysis program for major failures</li><li>Drive resolution of highest impact issues with a strong sense of urgency and integrity</li><li>Able to lift and move 50lbs</li><li>Ability to ascend/descend stairways, ladders, and catwalks (some at considerable height) over the majority of your work day</li><li>Be on your feet walking/moving around over the majority of your work day</li><li>Understanding and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, OneNote, 360, etc.)</li><li>Able to comply with repetitive use of limbs, hands, and fine manipulation through the use of testing equipment</li><li>Ability to work in extreme temperatures fluctuations, both hot and cold inside facility</li></ul>Education Requirements:<ul><li>Machine Lubrication Technician (MLT 1 Certification - must acquire certification within 6 months of hire date)</li><li>Machine Lubrication Analyst (MLA 1 Certification - must acquire certification within 6-12 months of hire date)</li></ul>Required Experience:<ul><li>5 years progressive experience as a Millwright with experience in machine lubrication</li><li>Proven use of computer software such as UAS3, AMS, CMMS, and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Vision, Outlook, Word)</li></ul>Desired Experience:<ul><li>Proven familiarity with standard reliability and maintenance strategies such as planning, PM programs, and PdM programs</li><li>Certification in Vibration CAT 1</li><li>Certification in Ultrasound ULT</li></ul>Excited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
