This position is responsible for: Under the general supervision of the Corps Officer, the Accounting Clerk performs a variety of routine and complex clerical accounting functions including financial record keeping and reporting; and processing bills, invoices, purchase orders, requisitions, checks, check requests, payments and/or deposits. Key Responsibilities: Receives, records, and deposits cash receipts; prepares daily tabulations and reports of cash receipts; distributes receipts to proper funds; makes daily entries into cash receipts ledger to the accounting system.
