Salary Range: $32,500– $37,500
 

Location: Flexible within Pathways’ 10-county service area
 

Position Summary:
The Youth Treatment Coordinator (YTC) is responsible for promoting awareness, prevention, and early intervention related to youth and young adult substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. This position focuses on community outreach, education, and coordination of evidence-based services for youth and families. The YTC will work collaboratively with internal teams, community partners, and service providers to strengthen and sustain a continuum of care for youth experiencing or at risk for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide community outreach and education to increase awareness of youth substance use, including signs, screening tools, and available resources.

  • Conduct presentations and training sessions for schools, community groups, and service organizations.

  • Support the development and implementation of evidence-based, developmentally appropriate prevention and treatment services for youth and their families.

  • Collaborate with internal programs, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure coordinated care and referrals.

  • Participate in community coalitions and task forces related to youth behavioral health and substance use prevention.

  • Maintain documentation, reports, and data related to program activities and outcomes.

  • Provide both direct and indirect support services to youth and families as appropriate.

  • Adhere to all Pathways policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
     

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with youth or young adults in a human services, behavioral health, or substance use setting preferred.
  • Peer Support Specialist certification preferred.
 

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of youth development, substance use prevention, and mental health services.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with schools, families, and community partners.

  • Organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently and travel within the service area as needed.
