About the Job:
  • Youth Sports Coach (Multi-Sport)
  • Good Call Sports | Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Flag Football
  • Part-Time | Leadership Track Available

Read This First:
This is not for everyone.

Most people like the idea of coaching kids.
Very few are willing to bring the energy, reliability, and leadership it actually requires.

At Good Call Sports, coaches don’t supervise.

They lead.

They create the environment that determines whether a child falls in love with sports or quits forever.

We are building the most trusted recreational sports organization in our community. That starts with who we hire.

The Standard:
Every session, every time, our coaches:
  • Show up early
  • Bring elite energy
  • Take full ownership
  • Stay off their phones
  • Lead with confidence
  • Engage every athlete

There are no off days. Kids deserve consistency.  If that excites you, keep reading. If that sounds like too much responsibility, this role is not a fit.

The Mission:
  • You will lead structured youth sports sessions for athletes ages 3–12 across soccer, basketball, baseball, and flag football.
  • Your job is not just teaching sports.
  • Your job is building confidence, leadership, and love for the game.
  • We provide the curriculum.
  • We expect you to bring the leadership.

What This Role Actually Requires:
This role is physically active and mentally demanding.
You will:
  • Lead groups of 8–20 athletes independently
  • Maintain attention and control of young athletes
  • Demonstrate skills with energy and clarity
  • Create a fast-paced, positive environment
  • Be fully present for the entire session
  • This is leadership. Not babysitting.

Non-Negotiable Traits:
Do not apply if you are not:
  • Extremely reliable
  • Consistently on time
  • High energy
  • Comfortable leading groups
  • Professional in appearance and communication
  • We cannot build a high-level organization with low-level standards.

What Makes Someone Successful Here:
Our best coaches:
  • Were former athletes or leaders
  • Take pride in doing things the right way
  • Bring energy even when tired
  • Understand they are role models
  • Take ownership without being asked
  • They don’t need to be managed. They lead.

What You Get in Return:
  • Competitive hourly pay
  • Leadership opportunities
  • Advancement into higher-level roles
  • Respect and autonomy
  • The opportunity to build something meaningful
  • High performers advance quickly.
  • Average performers do not last.

The Reality:
  • Most applicants will not be selected.
  • We are intentionally selective because the children and families we serve deserve the best leaders in our community.
  • If you are dependable, energetic, and ready to lead, we want to meet you.
  • If you are looking for something easy, this is not it.

Final Question:
  • Before applying, ask yourself honestly:
  • Do you want a job where you show up…
  • Or a role where you lead?
