Job Summary *This is an On-site, Part-Time/Temporary Position The Youth Soccer Coordinator will assist with overall program development of our Soccer for Success after-school programming. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating practices, officiating scrimmages, and providing on-site leadership during practices and games. Reports equipment problems to supervisor. + Attends staff meetings and trainings as required. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This position will support an afterschool soccer program in the Northshore School District. Shifts will be 90 minutes in length and will fall between the hours of 3:00pm and 5:00pm two weekdays per week. TRAVEL Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Qualifications + 18 years of age or older. + High school graduate or equivalent. + Knowledge of sports. + One or more years of experience working with children. + Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person. Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict. + Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. + Knowledge of standard office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems. + Current state approved first-aid certification.* + Current state approved infant/child (or community if school aged) CPR certification.* * At hire, or earliest possible training (but no later than 90 days after employment).
