The Shift Supervisor provides on-site leadership and operational oversight for daily functions of the Youth Screening Program. This position ensures screening processes are completed accurately and timely, maintains communication with court and law enforcement partners, and supports staff performance and adherence to established standards. The Shift Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for any Juvenile Assessment Center-related issues and supports the Program Director in maintaining quality service delivery.

We are looking for a Youth Shift Supervisor who must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, criminology, or a closely related field required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in juvenile justice, social services, or a related field. Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and Auto Insurance coverage.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures daily operations meet required standards and timelines.
- Serves as the primary contact for all JAC issues during assigned shifts.
- Reviews screening documentation and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- When necessary, perform all duties of a Youth Screening Specialist
- Coordinates with law enforcement, DJJ, and court staff to support smooth workflow and communication.
- Assists with new hires onboarding and ongoing training as directed by the Program Director.
- Participates in program briefings, staff meetings, and shift handoffs.
- Assists the Program Director with incident follow-up, quality assurance, and program improvement activities.
- Serves as backup for Youth Screening Specialists during absences or vacancies
- Completes all required documentation, reports, and logs in a timely manner.
- Serves as a second reviewer of the Detention Risk Assessment Instrument (DRAI) and reviews paperwork prior to submission to court.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
