Youth Mentor & Caregiver

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Youth Support Caregiver to provide individualized support for children and youth. This role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment while helping youth develop confidence, independence, and daily life skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and supervision for youth
• Assist with daily routines, activities, and community engagement
• Encourage social, emotional, and developmental growth
• Support positive behaviors and follow individualized support plans when applicable
• Assist with mobility or personal care as needed
• Maintain open communication with families and care teams
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth preferred
• Patient, compassionate, and dependable
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
