Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Youth Support Caregiver to provide individualized support for children and youth. This role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment while helping youth develop confidence, independence, and daily life skills.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support and supervision for youth
Assist with daily routines, activities, and community engagement
Encourage social, emotional, and developmental growth
Support positive behaviors and follow individualized support plans when applicable
Assist with mobility or personal care as needed
Maintain open communication with families and care teams
Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications
Experience working with children or youth preferred
Patient, compassionate, and dependable
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
