Pawnee Mental Health is a mission-driven, non-profit Certified Community
Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving 10 counties across
North-Central Kansas. We provide behavioral health services to children
and families who need support the most, and we are actively seeking

**What You Will DO**
Work with consumers who have a mental health diagnosis whose severity is
impairing their ability to be successful in home, school, work or their
community. Provide services which will build skills allowing the
consumers to achieve success. Work collaboratively with the consumer and
their treatment team to achieve goals as prescribed by the
person-centered plan.
**Responsibilities and Qualifications**
1. Review client person centered plans and develop activities to
enhance functioning levels in identified areas of need.
2. Provide direct services in location most appropriate based on client
need and document progress in each persons chart. Locations may
include the home, school, work, or other community settings.
3. Provide one-to-one support to clients who are in crisis or who need
a constant presence in order to remain stable and avoid a more
restrictive placement.
4. Collaborate with family members and other members of the treatment
team in identifying goals and strategies which reinforce desired
behavior.
5. Responsible for the implementation of scheduled day activities such
as exercise, socialization, personal goal setting, illness
management and community outings as appropriate.
6. Review client incidents with supervisor and submit written report as
outlined in policy and procedure.
7. Advocate for client rights and community integration. Preserve
dignity and confidentiality of each person on caseload.
8. Attend and actively participate in clinical supervision and program
staffing. Provide input to supervisors and other treatment team
members regarding clinical and program issues.
9. Drive to community settings for the delivery of services and related
program needs. This includes transporting the client in a personal
or company vehicle.
10. Meet with the client/guardian where service is needed. This may
include but is not limited to the home, school, work, store,
community location.
11. Meet administrative and clinical documentation requirements both in
terms of content and timeliness as outlined in agency policy.
12. Meet client care hour expectations as outlined in agency policy.
13. Enter and maintain clinical schedule in the electronic health record
scheduler.
14. Maintain and advance knowledge and skills related specifically to
position or to field of work through regular review of pertinent
materials or participation in training events as approved by
supervisor.
15. Adhere to the standards, policies and instructions established by
PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes within
field of employment.
16. Review and comply with the Pawnee Code of Conduct outlined in the
Employee Handbook.
17. Monitor and assist with medication administration compliance as
needed.
18. Perform verbal crisis de-escalation and, if necessary, physical
behavior management interventions (such as therapeutic holds) using
Pawnees approved crisis de-escalation program to maintain
environmental safety for the consumer and others.
19. Perform all other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate
supervisor or other management personnel.

***Group Services Focus***
1. Review client person centered plans and develop group-specific
activities to enhance functioning levels in identified areas of
need.
2. Work collaboratively with other CSPs in group settings to enhance
all client functioning levels.
3. Crosstrain in other focus areas (School Services and Individual
Services). Flex to cover shortages as assigned by supervisor.
***School Services Focus***
1. Provide direct services in the clients school or community and

3. Work effectively in the school setting, minimizing student
disruption and acting with professionalism, dignity, and respect
with staff members of the school system.

Work with the regional YCS team to provide 24-hour on-call crisis
coverage.
