Position Summary: Mutual Materials is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Distribution Center Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of hardscape materials using a forklift, supporting both company deliveries and customer pickups.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to load and unload Mutual Materials products safely and efficiently
Load company trucks and customer vehicles with accuracy and care
Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to all safety protocols
Assist with general yard and distribution center duties as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Work Environment: This position is based at our distribution center and requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. Candidates must be safety-conscious, alert, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Overtime as needed
Qualifications:
Prior experience in the building materials industry or a related field preferred
Strong customer service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to work both independently and effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment
Physically capable of lifting 70+ pounds on an occasional basis and remaining on your feet for extended periods; frequent bending, twisting, and lifting required
