Yard and Customer Service Associate
College Station, TX
Red River Brick, a premier brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Yard and Customer Service Associate to join our College Station, TX facility. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who is eager to develop in-depth knowledge of our products while supporting both customers and the sales team in the office and the yard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inside sales support and exceptional customer service
- Process orders, invoicing, and cash sales
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the SAP system
- Coordinate with dispatch to schedule truck deliveries (dispatch experience a plus)
- Collaborate closely with the outside sales team
- Perform manual handling of product as needed
- Assist customers and drivers in the brick yard with order pickups
- Operate a forklift to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of customer service and/or inside sales experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Strong computer skills; SAP experience a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Previous forklift experience or ability to become certified preferred
- Willingness to work both in an office setting and outdoors in a yard environment
What We Offer:
- Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000
