Job Title: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)
Shift: Day Shift | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation
Pay Rate: $2,000 – $2,550 Weekly (Based on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. The technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopy equipment safely and effectively.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients regarding imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout examinations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records within the electronic medical record system.
- Follow radiation safety practices, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
- Assist with equipment quality control and report maintenance concerns as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Radiologic Technologist License.
- Fluoroscopy Permit.
- ARRT (R) Certification.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Minimum one (1) year of X-Ray Technologist experience.
- Pending licenses will not be accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital or acute care imaging environments.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR systems.
- Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Assignment Details
- 13-week contract assignment with potential for extension.
- Day shift schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.
