Position Summary:We are looking for a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring patient safety, and working with physicians and medical staff to deliver high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic X-ray exams as requested by physicians, ensuring high-quality images.
- Properly position patients and adjust equipment settings based on the type of exam.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Follow radiation safety protocols, minimizing exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including images, reports, and related documentation.
- Assist in preparing patients for imaging procedures and provide education on the process.
- Collaborate with radiologists to review images for clarity and diagnostic quality.
- Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and ensure that it is functioning properly.
- Assist with inventory management of imaging supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Certification:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
