Title: X-Ray Technician – Contract

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Duration: Contract Assignment

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will have strong radiographic skills, excellent patient care abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders

  • Prepare and position patients for imaging studies

  • Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure settings appropriately

  • Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff

  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images

  • Verify and complete imaging documentation accurately

  • Maintain patient records and departmental documentation

  • Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance issues

  • Maintain inventory of radiology supplies

  • Follow infection control and safety protocols

  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

  • Support team operations and other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technician experience

  • Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology

  • Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT)

  • ARRT Certification required

  • BLS Certification required

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures

  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in outpatient or hospital radiology settings

  • Strong troubleshooting and equipment operation skills
