Job Description
General Purpose of Job:
The Workplace Violence Prevention & Training Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs with a primary focus on de-escalation strategies. This role leads the creation of evidence-based curricula, equips personnel with skills to safely manage high-risk interactions, and promotes best practices that reduce conflict, enhance community trust, and improve safety outcomes. The coordinator also trains and supports instructors, ensures program consistency and effectiveness, and evaluates training impact to support continuous improvement across the organization.

Job Requirements
Work Experience • See Education Education • Bachelor's degree required and 1 yr of experience creating, planning, coordinating and implementing training and programs OR Associate's degree and 3 yrs experience creating, planning, coordinating and implementing training and programs.
