About the Role:

As a CBRE Technical Coordinator, you will assist with engineering operations alongside a team of technicians, vendors,

and subcontractors.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support,

preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Review work orders and resolve issues.
  • Consult with clients to schedule preventive maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience.
  • Assist with implementing a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
  • Determine that work is complete, equipment is fully functional and client space is in prime working condition.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state
  • jurisdictions.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $40,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $45,760 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
