Our client is a large global company that manages and develops well-known consumer brands, focusing on products related to fashion and lifestyle. They operate internationally, work with retail and wholesale channels, and aim to grow their brands through marketing, product development, and global distribution. They are currently looking to add a Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$110/hr - $115/hr

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist to lead/configure Workday Payroll for the U.S. and Canada, support payroll processing activities, and build/maintain reporting and dashboards. This person will partner cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions, ensure compliance, and drive ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities of the Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist:
  • Configure Workday Payroll for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Support payroll processing, validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Support payroll compliance, audits, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Finance, and technical teams to deliver projects successfully.
  • Provide configuration support, documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Workday Payroll Configuration & Reporting Specialist:
  • 10+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll configuration experience.
  • Experience supporting both U.S. and Canadian payroll processes.
  • Strong Workday reporting expertise (including calculated fields) and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, depending on the position.
