Position summary
The Workday HRIS Analyst supports the implementation, go-live, stabilization, and ongoing administration of Workday across the firm. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, and external implementation partners to support system administration, testing, troubleshooting, process improvement, and user adoption.
This position is ideal for someone with prior Workday implementation or administration experience who can support internal teams, provide practical recommendations, and help meet operational needs during and after implementation. Experience supporting a Workday go-live is required. Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting a large-scale global Workday implementation and to grow into broader Workday administration responsibilities over time.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Workday implementation and post-go-live support team, helping to support the successful deployment, stabilization, and ongoing optimization of Workday across the firm.
- Act as an internal Workday resource for HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, IT, and other business teams by providing guidance on functionality, best practices, configuration considerations, and operational impacts.
- Support key Workday functional areas, including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Security, Reporting, Prism Analytics, EIBs, business processes, and integrations.
- Partner with implementation consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support decision-making, close knowledge gaps, and build internal capability.
- Assist with implementation activities, including design discussions, configuration review, testing coordination, defect tracking, data validation, cutover planning, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Help troubleshoot system, process, and integration issues by researching practical solutions, workarounds, and long-term improvements.
- Provide support for business processes, security roles, reporting, EIB loads, Prism Analytics, integrations, and related system administration activities as needed.
- Assist with data conversion validation, reconciliation, audit support, payroll and benefits testing, and system quality assurance activities.
- Create and maintain process documentation, job aids, knowledge base articles, and training materials to support long-term operational success and internal knowledge sharing.
- Provide day-to-day support to internal users and project team members while helping increase organizational knowledge and comfort with Workday functionality and processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve user experience, and optimize Workday functionality following go-live.
- Stay informed on new Workday functionality, releases, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for future enhancements.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of HRIS, Workday, or related systems experience preferred
- Experience supporting at least one Workday implementation or go-live required
- Experience supporting HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, or related functional areas preferred
- Experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred

Working conditions
Works remotely. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. Early start time preferred to accommodate service in our EMEA locations.
Pay ranges
This is a non-exempt position. The hourly wage range for this role is $33.65 to $38.46, with an estimated annual compensation range of $70,000 to $80,000, based on expected hours. This represents the presently anticipated pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Miami & Richmond – $33.65 - $38.46 per hour (approximately $70,000 - $80,000 annually based on expected hours)
