As a Wood Shop Laborer and Delivery Driver, you'll play a key part in supporting our manufacturing operations and ensuring timely delivery of quality products. You'll work alongside a dedicated team committed to craftsmanship, safety, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
As a Wood Shop Laborer and Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the cutting, stacking, and bundling of various types of wood used in moulding production.
- Feeding wood of different lengths into rip saws, inspecting materials for defects, and making minor adjustments to ensure quality output. (Training provided)
- Removing finished boards from machines and organizing them for shipment and delivery.
- Maintaining a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Operating company vehicles to deliver wood products to customers as needed, following all safety and traffic regulations.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Basic skills in reading a tape measure and using calipers or similar measuring tools.
- The physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
- Strong teamwork abilities paired with a positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
- A valid drivers license, as driving company vehicles for deliveries may be required.
- Willingness to learn safety procedures and technical tasks associated with woodworking and transportation.
