Looking for an experienced or new case manager for a Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty Substance Use Treatment Program! Enjoy working with women who are pregnant, moms and dads who need extra support to maintain or achieve recovery from substances or alcohol? Enjoy connecting clients to community resources? Want to collaborate with various agencies to help provide positive outcomes for your clients and the recovery community? Maybe even want to learn how to run educational groups for women and parents? As a Women’s Specialty Case Manager at Family Service & Children’s Aid, you will provide behavioral health services that help clients to attain and/or maintain recovery from substance use and along with assisting them with improving their overall well-being by connecting with resources to meet their immediate needs in the areas of physical health, housing, transportation, education, employment, and issues that are specific barriers to parents in recovery.
This position will assist with screening potential clients for services, facilitating educational groups, advocating for clients involved in probation and/or DHHS systems, and providing individual support. FSCA is sought after for SUD treatment due to our trauma informed approach and being the only Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty provider in our county. Women’s and Parent Focused Specialty services means we provide gender competent and parent focused treatment, assist with removing barriers that are specific to parents in recovery, and our target population are those parents at risk of losing custody of their children or are attempting to regain custody of their children.
