We are looking for Womens Health Providers to join our well established and accredited team who provide high-quality comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services to women of all ages. As a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP), you will provide outpatient Obstetrics & gynecology services including prenatal /postnatal care. Birth control services, well-woman visits, and gynecologic care in a supportive and quality-oriented manner.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct care for OBGYN patients by obtaining medical history, performing appropriate physical examinations, and creating an assessment and treatment plan. This may include ordering and following up on labs/imaging, performing necessary procedures, and referring for specialty care when needed.
- Administers or prescribes treatments and medications.
- Follows up and monitors patients progress throughout treatment plan.
- Documents the evaluation and plan of care.
- Provides patient education on a variety of womens health topics.
- Collaborates and consults with other in house allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Womens Health Nurse Practitioner education program
- Valid Arizona N. License
- Board certification.
- Current DEA number
- Valid Womens Health Nurse Practitioner License or Arizona Nurse Practitioner certificate
- Valid CPR certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-year relevant experience
