Women''''s Golf Assistant Coach

High Point University is seeking a Women's Golf Assistant Coach for the Athletic department. This position helps run all aspects of the High Point Women's Golf program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to overseeing all aspects of the golf sports program to include coaching, scheduling, organizing, and conducting practice, arranging for team travel, budget management, providing academic oversight, and public relations development. Identifies and recruits academically qualified student-athletes and counsels the student-athletes toward graduation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree

Experience and Training

• Previous Collegiate Player
• Previous Collegiate Coaching
• Professional Golf Experience

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

• Budget Management
• Recruiting highly motivated and qualified student-athletes
• Scheduling
• Organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Can walk 36-holes for tournament days.
• Ability to drive a 12-15 passenger van.

ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Punctuality
• Finishing tasks in a timely manner
• Knowing your actions can consequence the Head Coach
