Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time position (36 hours per week) in the Wound Care Department for an Administrative Assistant.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:

  • The WOC Administrative Assistant performs diverse and secretarial and nursing assistant duties in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Coordinates schedules and appointments.
  • Schedule daily activities while maintaining an accurate and efficient clinic schedule.
  • Organization of documentation and follow-up functions for nursing homes and inpatients.
  •  Assist WOC nurses with patient care as directed.
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or on-call.

  • Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year experience of medical secretary/terminology preferred.
  • Mandatory Reporter training & BLS certificate is a plus; certification is required within six months of employment.
