JOB SUMMARY
The Wireman III is a senior, highly skilled individual contributor responsible for complex electrical assemblies, advanced troubleshooting, and supporting higher level builds. This role serves as a technical mentor to Wireman I and II team members and partners closely with engineering on prototype, NPI, and continuous improvement efforts. This position is not a people manager role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute and lead complex electrical and control panel assemblies with minimal supervision
  • Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Support prototype, NPI, and engineering change builds
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design or manufacturability issues
  • Provide technical guidance and on the job mentoring to Wireman I and II staff
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and repeatability
  • Ensure work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-8+ years of electrical assembly or wireman experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex builds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Exposure to automation systems or PLC controlled equipment
  • Experience supporting prototype or NPI builds
  • Experience working in regulated, safety sensitive, or quality driven environments (e.g., manufacturing, industrial equipment)
