H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Wing Readiness Manager. The Wing Readiness Manager will assist with wing-level interface between HQ ACC, AFGSC, AFSOC, AETC, Combat Air Force units, and other USAF, Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government agencies.

Responsibilities:

Deployment Management & Execution

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute deployment and redeployment processing for Wing personnel, including scheduling pre-deployment training, coordinating with supervisors and agencies, and ensuring compliance with DoD, Air Force, and COCOM guidance.
  • Manage deployment logistics including equipment procurement, accountability, distribution, and travel coordination with Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command, and other stakeholders; ensure compliance with the Foreign Clearance Guide for international travel.

Readiness Reporting & Systems Management

  • Serve as Wing SME for readiness reporting and manage reporting across multiple systems, including; Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART), Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES), Defense Readiness Reporting System, and AF-IT.
  • Oversee Unit Type Code (UTC) posturing, Time-Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD), and overall Wing/unit readiness status, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting requirements.

Training, Mobility & Personnel Readiness

  • Coordinate and track all pre- and post-deployment requirements, including training, medical, dental, logistics, and security readiness using systems such as ACES, SFMIS, LOGMOD, and Excel.
  • Build and maintain individual mobility folders, verify Isolated Personnel Reports (ISOPREP), and ensure all personnel meet deployment eligibility requirements.
  • Interface with CATM and other support agencies to ensure completion of ancillary training.

Readiness Analysis, Reporting & Briefings

  • Develop and deliver recurring readiness reports and briefings to Wing leadership, including individual, unit, group, and Wing-level readiness status, deployment metrics, and capability assessments.
  • Track and report deployment statistics, monitor personnel status/location, and provide weekly and monthly updates to leadership.

Policy, Compliance & Inspection Support

  • Ensure compliance with applicable guidance including; AFI 10-244, AFI 10-403, and AFI 90-201.
  • Support inspections, assessments, and self-assessments; review unit readiness reports for accuracy and completeness, identify discrepancies, and assist units with corrective actions.

Program Oversight & Readiness Governance

  • Assist Wing leadership in developing and enforcing readiness procedures, ensuring monthly readiness assessments are completed and properly documented in DRRS.
  • Coordinate with MAJCOM Functional Area Managers (FAMs) and unit administrators to align Mission Essential Tasks (METs), Named Operations, and Top Priority Plans.
  • Monitor subordinate unit performance and ensure readiness reporting consistency across the Wing.

Communication, Coordination & Task Management

  • Disseminate Higher Headquarters (HHQ) guidance and coordinate with Wing, base, and external agencies on deployment and readiness issues.
  • Proactively engage with unit POCs to ensure timely completion of requirements and resolve readiness challenges.

Documentation & Continuity Management

  • Maintain deployment records, mobility documentation, and readiness tracking systems in accordance with Air Force and DoD guidance.
  • Develop continuity folders with procedures, templates, and documentation to ensure seamless transition of responsibilities.

Systems & Tools

  • Readiness and deployment systems (ART, DCAPES, Defense Readiness Reporting System, AF-IT, ACES, SFMIS, LOGMOD).
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Qualifications:

Clearance & Eligibility

  • U.S. Citizen with ability to pass background investigation (FBI fingerprint check and NACI)
  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • No disqualifying legal, administrative, or employment history

Experience

  • 4+ years as Unit Deployment Manager (UDM) or higher-level readiness role
  • Experience interfacing with higher headquarters and managing Air Force readiness systems
