Wing Readiness Manager

Apogee Solutions, a Woman-owned Small Business, is seeking a Wing Readiness Manager at Shaw Air Force Base, SC to provide support for the oversight and management of multiple disciplines to support the 25th Attack Wing (25 ATKW) mission across three geographically separated locations.

The Wing Readiness Manager will assist with wing-level interface between HQ ACC, AFGSC, AFSOC, AETC, Combat Air Force units, and other USAF, Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process 25 ATKW members for deployments/re-deployments to/from combat zones, exercises, and other locations based on US Government, DoD, AF, and COCOM guidance.
• Coordinate and schedule required pre-departure training with 25 ATKW deploying personnel, their supervisor, and DOS. Access to the “Automated Civil Engineering System” (ACES) and the “Security Forces Management Information System” (SFMIS) for scheduling pre-deployment training.
• Identify deployment equipment for procurement specified by organizations or guidance from organizations through outsourcing Government Contractors, maintain this equipment, and distribute individual equipment for deploying personnel utilizing current host base and AFI guidance.
• Prepare and submit a list of deployment item requirements for purchase to wing leadership.
• Serve as the wing subject matter expert (SME) for wing and unit level readiness reporting.
• Manage deployment reporting in the Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool (ART) and the Deliberate Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES) system including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates. Manage AF-IT and DRRS reporting tools for proper wing/unit posturing and use DCAPES to track all ATKW UTCs.
• Monitor the Host Wing Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) for deployment of taskers to 25 ATKW.
• Use LOGMOD and Excel to track pre-deployment/post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements.
• Proactively interface with ATKW points of contact (POCs) to ensure personnel complete deployment requirements in a timely manner.
• Prepare status reports showing individual, unit, group and wing readiness for deployment.
• Track, comply with, and report individual and unit deployment statistics.
• Interface with Combat Arms Training and Maintenance (CATM) and mobility support agencies to facilitate the scheduling and accomplishment of pre-deployment ancillary training events.
• Interface with government-designated Commercial Travel Office (CTO), Air Mobility Command liaison officers, and unit/wing resource advisors to arrange and/or de- conflict deployment/re-deployment travel. Utilize the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG) for individual, unit, and wing foreign travel requirements for deployments and temporary duties (TDYs).
• Provide weekly updates to squadron/wing leadership containing the duty status and location of deployed personnel to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance report/decoration accomplishment.
• Coordinate with wing, base and higher headquarters offices on deployment issues and maintain mobility folders/documentation IAW DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-244, AFI 10-403, AFI 33-332, AFI 37-132, associated CENTAF/ACC/Installation supplements, and locally developed guidance.
• Build and maintain individual mobility folders for all deployable wing and subordinate unit members.
• Generate and verify Isolated Personnel Report (ISOPREP) data for deploying personnel.
• Create monthly reports outlining mobility status of all deployable wing members and the preparation level/status versus total requirements of those tasked to deploy.
• Disseminate all Higher Headquarters (HHQ) guidance and/or correspondence to subordinate and geographically separated units, as required, in a timely manner, for the 25 ATKW/CC.
• Ensure units, assigned to the wing, register a sufficient number of assigned individuals in the Unit Commander (UC) role Unit Administrator (UA) role so that monthly readiness assessments are accomplished on time. Ensure UCs complete the Commanders Readiness Reporting (CRR) course and UAs complete the Air Force Readiness Reporting (AFRR) course in the prescribed timeframe.
• Interact with Air Combat Command Readiness Office to resolve any wing issues, as directed by the 25 ATKW/CC.
• Assist the Wing Commander in the development of wing procedures to ensure subordinate units’ readiness assessments are accomplished monthly, between the 1st and the 15th of each month. Assist units that cannot physically report readiness due to deployments or other mission circumstances.
• Review monthly subordinate unit readiness assessments within DRRS. Review unit inputs to ensure readiness assessments and supporting remarks are clear, concise, and explain the issue/shortfall and fix/mitigation. Contact units if discrepancies are found and assist as necessary.
• Assist in preparing the 25 ATKW and subordinate units for all inspections, assessments and self-assessments as defined AFI 90-201, The Air Force Inspection System.
• Assist the MAJCOM FAM and UAs in determining the applicable Named Operations and Top Priority Plans to be loaded in DRRS. As well as determining the Core METs applicable to the Named Operations and Top Priority Plans to ensure consistency across reporting units under their purview.
• Prepare monthly readiness briefing providing status for 25 ATKW/CC review. Ensure it includes, at a minimum, Resource and Capability Readiness Assessments. Additionally, if required, prepare wing-level Capability Readiness Assessments and submit for 25 ATKW/CC review/approval.
• Schedule and conduct Air Force Reporting Tool (ART) training with all newly assigned ART monitors and ART approvers.
• Coordinate with ACC FAM to update DOC statements, Unit Type Codes, Mission Essential Task, Named Operations, Top Priority Plans, and Mission Essential Task List commensurate with 25 ATKW/CC and unit commander direction.

Requirements:

• US Citizen with the ability to pass a background check, to include Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and National Agency Check with Written Inquires (NACI)
• Active, adjudicated TOP SECRET / SCI Clearance
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a group (or higher) level UDM and experience interfacing with higher headquarters for readiness reporting and familiarity with all Air Force readiness reporting software (ie, ART, DRRS, AF-IT)
• No negative administrative, judicial, non-judicial, or criminal action/record in previous civilian or military employment for 5 years
• No history of being terminated from civilian employment, denied reenlistment, administratively discharged, or separated from the military under any condition other than honorable
• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within fast-paced, mission-driven settings while maintaining accuracy, discretion, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations
• Possess strong business acumen and professional judgment, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
• Must have a strong attention to detail and be highly organized
