Job Summary
Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) plays a role in the success of Michigan Medicine by providing clinicians, educators, researchers, students, and staff with technology-related information, products, and support. HITS also provides institutional expertise related to IT strategy, security, infrastructure, and resource management.
The HITS Enterprise Device Engineering and Management (EDEM) Team is seeking a highly talented, customer and result driven engineer to help manage its fleet of Windows and IGEL endpoints. Responsibilities of this role include:
Responsibilities*
You should have experience managing Windows endpoints with SCCM and Intune, as well as application packaging using relevant tools to package, deploy, and troubleshoot software. You will possess a broad understanding of supporting the Windows desktop operating system in an enterprise environment. You will have strong analytical skills and experience with ITIL-based tools such as Service Now. You will be a driven individual constantly in search of ways to reduce operational overhead and improve efficiencies using incident trend analysis. You will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong desire to resolve issues in a timely manner and with great care toward the customer.
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of experience supporting Windows operating systems, including management, troubleshooting, and general product lifecycle management in a diverse enterprise environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Work Schedule
This position is being offered as a Hybrid position. There will be times when it will be appropriate for you to work from home. There will be other times when you will be required to work onsite for meetings, and hardware testing/troubleshooting. This position will be 90% remote work.
On-Call rotation participation and after-hours support are required for this position.
