Evolver is seeking an experienced Windows M365 Systems Engineer to work in Washington, DC.

 

  • In this role you will be responsible for supporting Microsoft 365 environment, with particular attention given to governance, design, and architecture.
  • Act as a Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Email Services (Exchange Online), Office Applications (Microsoft 365), Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Review existing M365 processes to ensure that gaps or errors are identified and resolved
  • Work with Azure AD & on-Prem Active Directory systems
  • Support our Microsoft 365 security and compliance management, specifically anti-phishing/anti-malware/anti-spam policies/config/troubleshooting/email tracing
  • Communicate with the customer to keeping them informed of operational status, progress on agreed deliverables, and notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
  • Assist federal stakeholders in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and design.

 

 

You may be requested on a limited basis to work off-hours to include evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends, however, you will generally work a standard eight (8) hour day within a 7:00am-5:00pm coverage period on a Monday through Friday schedule.

 

Basic Requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree plus 8 year’s of work experience or 12 years total work experience
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 services: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Multi-factor Authentication, and Single Sign On.
  • 5 Years of experience with Active Directory and related services including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and DFS
  • 5 Years of experience deploying and administering Windows Server operating systems, including, Windows 2019/2016/2012R2 and SQL 2016
  • 3 Years of experience with Microsoft's System Center (SC) Configuration Manager, Operations Manager
  • 2 years of experience implementing M365 DLP, Cloud App Security, Defender, and Conditional Access

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience with Microsoft 365 services: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Multi-factor Authentication, and Single Sign On.
  • 8 Years of experience with Active Directory and related services including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and DFS
  • 8 Years of experience deploying and administering Windows Server operating systems, including, Windows 2019/2016/2012R2 and SQL 2016
  • 5 Years of experience with Microsoft's System Center (SC) Configuration Manager, Operations Manager
  • 2 years of experience implementing M365 DLP, Cloud App Security, Defender, and Conditional Access
  • At least 3 years of experience in cloud technologies including Microsoft Azure/M365, or Amazon Web Services (AWS), or other public cloud services.
  • AWS, Azure or M365 certifications
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 services: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Multi-factor Authentication, and Single Sign On.
  • Understanding of Message Retention and Data Compliance Requirements
  • Proficiency in all technical aspects of M365 implementation and Azure Active Directory (AAD) services required.
  • A full understanding of the Microsoft 365 and Collaboration technology stack (Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
