Job Title: Windows 11 Administrator
Location: San Jose CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
 
Salary Range: $40.00 - $44.00/Hour on W2 (Without Benefits).
Applicants must be willing to work on W2.
 
Job Description:
Design & Architecture Strategy:
  • Create architectural diagrams, design specifications, and define the Windows 11 deployment strategy, including in-place upgrades vs. re-imaging.
Modern Management (Intune/MECM/SCCM):
  • Design and implement modern endpoint management systems (Microsoft Intune) for patch management, policy configuration, and application deployment.
Security & Compliance:
  • Architect security features such as Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 enforcement, Secure Boot, Credential Guard, and Microsoft Defender ATP to meet Zero Trust principles.
Application Compatibility & Packaging:
  • Analyze, test, and manage software application compatibility to ensure business apps run effectively on Windows 11.
Identity & Network Integration:
  • Integrate Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and on-premises Active Directory for hybrid identity scenarios, managing user profiles and access.
Windows-as-a-Service Management:
  • Establish processes for managing, testing, and deploying Windows 11 updates and biannual feature updates to minimize disruption.
Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain architecture decision records (ADR) that document technical decisions, tradeoffs, and project milestones.
Required Skills:
  • Must have Experience with Windows 11.
  • Must Have 7+ years of Experience in Microsoft Architecture.
Experience Required:
  • Overall Experience Required is 6 – 8 years of experience.
