Hyosung HICO, Ltd. has an opening for a Winding Specialist in Memphis, TN 38109. Duties are to perform Senior Winder duties and functions as needed. Perform winding work of all types and sizes within the winding department. Maintain workflow, ensure availability of proper materials/tools. Communicate and work within the winding team to ensure all types and sizes of windings may be produced in the winding department. Provide technical support and direction to all co-workers when new situations or problems are discovered. Determine operation sequences and methods where specifications are imprecise or vague. Analyzing and resolving work problems or assists other technicians in solving problems and implementing corrective actions. Conduct on-the-job training to assure all employees are properly trained prior to performing work or a job; assist with cross-training and job rotation schedules to enhance employee knowledge. Confirm quality criteria is properly inspected, verified and documented during manufacturing to ensure product meets specifications, tolerances, prints and customer order requirements. Identify and correct defects appropriately. Associates (or its equivalent) required in a technical field plus 2 years manufacturing environment experience and experience in procedures, troubleshooting power transformer operations and in reading drawings/blueprints.
