We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Wheel Loader Operator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating heavy equipment, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating wheel loaders in construction, aggregate, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial settings and be committed to safety, efficiency, and reliability.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a wheel loader to move materials, load trucks, and maintain production flow
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Load and transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, debris, or other raw materials
- Maintain safe operating procedures and follow all company safety guidelines
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with site cleanup and general labor duties as needed
- Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate production and equipment records when required
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Previous experience operating a wheel loader or heavy equipment required
- Knowledge of safe equipment operation and job site safety practices
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- OSHA or heavy equipment certifications are a plus
Preferred:
Construction, aggregate, recycling, landscaping, or industrial experience
Experience loading dump trucks or feeding production equipment
Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
