Qualifications - High school diploma, GED, or this may be waived by the building principal - Strong work ethic - Ability to work with students and staff on a daily basis Reports To Food Service Manager Job Goal To serve the students attractive and nutritious meals in an atmosphere of efficiency, cleanliness, and friendliness. Performance Responsibilities - Assists in the preparation of food portions and prepares cafeteria counter. - Serves students and staff from the cafeteria counter when necessary. - Removes used dishes and assists in the cleaning of counters, tables, and furnishings in the dining area. - Maintains the trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion. - Performs related duties as required, including duties at special meal functions. - Authorizes the deductions of money from individual lunch accounts. Terms of Employment - Ten, eleven, or twelve month year. - Salary and work year to be established by the Board. Evaluation Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
