This is a remote, home-based Canopy Sales Representative position covering Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and other western United States. Candidates must currently reside within this territory and be available to travel regularly to meet with clients throughout the region.

We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven sales professional with experience in fuel retail, convenience store, construction, or related industries — someone who thrives in a territory-based role and enjoys building long-term customer partnerships. The ideal candidate brings strong business development skills, works well independently, and is passionate about delivering customized canopy and branding solutions to clients across the West.


Job Summary

The Canopy Sales Representative develops and manages customer relationships to support the sale of canopy systems, lighting solutions, and related branding elements. This role focuses on identifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting customers throughout the sales process.

Required Qualifications

Must currently reside in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, or western United States

3+ years of proven B2B outside sales experience, preferably in fuel retail, convenience store, or construction-related industries

Ability to travel within the assigned territory approximately 40–60% of the time

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of convenience store operations and infrastructure

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite

Demonstrated track record of negotiating and closing sales contracts

Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

Identify and target potential clients, including new and existing fuel stations, convenience store chains, and independent operators

Conduct market research on trends, competitive landscape, and new business opportunities

Present and demonstrate canopy products, features, benefits, and customization options

Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets

Pursue leads from industry events, referrals, and online inquiries

Maintain a robust sales pipeline and accurately forecast sales

Client Relationship Management

Build and nurture long-term client relationships, understanding needs and providing tailored solutions

Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, issues, and support

Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and identify repeat business opportunities

Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and project management teams for seamless execution

Product Knowledge and Industry Expertise

Maintain deep knowledge of the full canopy product range, including materials, design options, lighting, and branding capabilities

Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in fuel station infrastructure

Administrative and Reporting

Maintain accurate client records and sales activity in the CRM

Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses

Attend sales meetings and participate in required training
