Summary: Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a dedicated and caring West Way Crisis Center Coordinator to oversee a residential crisis stabilization facility serving individuals with a serious mental illness. The facility is located in Laurel, MS. The purpose of the Crisis Stabilization Unit is to manage and divert individuals from entering long-term programs. The Crisis Stabilization Unit Coordinator position plays a vital part in Pine Belt Mental Healths ability to maintain daily operations of the program, supervise staff, and provide public relations for the facility.

Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements: Masters degree in behavioral health field Professional clinical license preferred Valid drivers license with satisfactory driving record required Must have ability to work independently and facilitate diverse teams Must have appropriate knowledge and utilization of SMI and COD diagnoses

Responsibilities: Administers staff supervision, including recruitment, scheduling, and enforcement of policies and procedures. Ensures appropriate training for all program staff. Provides clinical guidance to teams, audits charts for accuracy, integrity, and soundness.
