The VISTA Leader will build sustainable processes to improve VISTA recruitment and retention at The Hub.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the pilot summer associate program.
  • Streamlining procedures for data and report collection.

The Leader will assist the Program Manager with recruitment by managing relationships with university career services, academic departments, and local community partners to identify potential members.

Serving as a mentor for members across WV, the Leader will:

  • Facilitate monthly check-ins.
  • Develop customized trainings for both in-person and online delivery based on member needs.

They will also coordinate service projects for National Days of Service and other AmeriCorps initiatives.

Finally, the Leader will collaborate with Hub Leadership Programs on longitudinal learning projects to help inform the future direction of individual leadership development programming.
