Thoroughknowledgeofprinciple of wellness, physical fitness, kinesiology, anatomy,and physiology.Knowledge in wordprocessing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets andother related computer software.They should possess theability to interact with individuals of allages.We are seeking anindividual who can hitthe ground runningandhas an aptitude for creating fun and engaging programs to enhance our current programs.The individual willassist withwellness planningandactivities such asscheduled noonhour fitness, senior fitness classes andearly childhood education (ECE) fitness activities andfun runsetc...Thisalsoincludes planning, coordinating, and conducting fitness activities during the after school and summer programs. Instructing duties include fitness classes toimprove strength, flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning for allages.Knowledge of operations andmaintenance ofexerciseequipment other responsibilities include assisting with building maintenance, custodial duties and security.
Requirements
Associates DegreeinPhysicalEducationor relatedfield.FitnessSpecialist andAerobicsInstructor Certification.Three years' experience in recreation, physical education or related field.Three years' experience working with special population. Must pass a background check, drugtest, possessavalidOregonDriver'sLicenseandpassdrivingrequirementfortheCTWS;obtainFirstAid and CPR Certification within (6) months of employment.
