The Wellfield Geologist monitors and observes well drilling operations, logs data, analyzes water samples, and characterizes underground structures.
Reporting to the Wellfield Manager, this safety-sensitive role involves collecting wellfield data, performing groundwater sampling, and ensuring aquifer permit compliance.
Responsibilities include recording drilling activities, sampling groundwater, analyzing drill cuttings, supporting technical report preparation, and assisting with compliance activities.
Qualifications include experience in well drilling or geological logging, sampling, data management, and familiarity with aquifer regulations.
The position requires effective time management, independent and team work, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work involves rotating shifts supporting 24/7 operations, outdoors in varying weather, and physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds.
