    Well-Being Program Specialist

    This position supports the delivery and administration of Oxy's well-being initiatives through program coordination, execution, and operation support, and reporting activities. This role is responsible for coordinating health and wellness campaigns, biometric screening initiative, maintaining program data and resources, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives across Oxy's domestic and global populations. Working closely with the Well-Being Program & Benefits Communications Supervisor and Well-Being Program Advisor, the Specialist serves as a key operational resource responsible for ensuring programs are executed effectively, participation data is maintained accurately, and employee-facing initiatives are delivered in a timely and organized manner.

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with OxyHealth Well-Being Program & Benefits Communications Supervisor & Well-Being Advisor, and Fitness Team to support the development, implementation, and execution of well-being programming and engagement initiatives that promote health, well-being, and awareness of Oxy benefits and resources
    • Coordinate annual health and wellness observance campaigns and awareness initiatives, including planning, implementation, communications, resource management, and participation tracking, and reporting
    • Draft employee communications, newsletters, and marketing materials that promote well-being activities, events, initiatives, and education
    • Coordinate domestic biometric screening events, including vendor coordination, scheduling, registration management, participation communications, incentive administration, and logistics
    • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of employee-facing well-being initiatives, challenges, webinars, health fairs, educational programs, and awareness campaigns
    • Coordinate program logistics, stakeholder communications, and implementation activities to ensure successful delivery of well-being activities and events
    • Track participation, utilization, and engagement metrics; prepare reports, dashboards, and participation summaries to support program evaluation and continuous improvement

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • Provide operational support to the well-being program through meeting coordination, webinar administration, registration management, attendance tracking, project documentation, and employee inquiry support
    • Assist with well-being application engagement and administration by ensuring product expertise to promote to employees and assist with questions regarding platform navigation
    • Maintain well-being team resource libraries, educational materials, toolkits, and program documentation to ensure information remains organized, accessible, and current
    • Support content management and recordkeeping activities related to all well-being activities and initiatives
    • Identify opportunities to increase employee engagement and awareness of well-being resources through collaboration with internal departments, business groups, and site leaders
    • Maintain professional expertise and stay current with HealthCare client promotion and wellness trends

    Support employee engagement initiatives, well-being campaigns, and special projects by assisting with implementation activities, stakeholder coordination, communications, and participation efforts.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Health Science, Public Health, Exercise Science, Nutrition, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in employee well-being, health promotion, benefits administration, employee engagement, event coordination, or a related field
    • Experience coordinating of events, campaigns, or employe-facing initiatives
    • Experience designing effective marketing materials for events and activities
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
    • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and exhibit flexibility when work assignments or priorities change
    • Client-centered focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with initiative and drive for results
    • Strong interpersonal skills; must possess the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
    • Strong communication skills, including writing and editing abilities
    • Demonstrated level of proficiency in Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Dependable and although it's not frequent, ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends for events and programs
    • Ability to travel (approximately 10-15%)
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience working with employee well-being platforms, incentive programs, or benefits-related applications
    • Experience supporting communications campaigns, newsletters, intranet content, or employee marketing initiatives
    • Experience working with external vendors and coordinating third-party services
    • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in employee well-being, health promotion, mental well-being, and workforce engagement
    • Professional certifications such as CHES, ACSM, SHRM-CP, or similar are a plus
