Welding Supervisor

Welding Supervisor<br/>Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–FridayOverview<br/>Inova Staffing is seeking a hands-on Welding Supervisor to lead a team, manage daily workflow, and support TIG welding operations for one of our clients in the Akron area. This role oversees production, safety, training, and process improvement while stepping in to weld or fabricate when needed.This is a direct hire role.Responsibilities<ul><li>Direct and organize welding staff to meet production goals</li><li>Maintain safety standards, clean work areas, and proper equipment use</li><li>Support Lean practices and continuous improvement efforts</li><li>Train and coach welders to improve quality and efficiency</li><li>Troubleshoot and assist with TIG welding and fabrication</li><li>Communicate policies, evaluate performance, and handle documentation</li><li>Perform other related tasks as needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>HS diploma or GED</li><li>Strong TIG welding experience with various alloys</li><li>4–6 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing welding environment</li><li>Robotics exposure preferred</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and use MS Office</li><li>Strong communication and supervisory skills</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 55 lbs</li><li>On-site role with required PPE</li></ul>Inova Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer
