Welder

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder/Machine Operator

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Pay Range: $22-27/hr based on experience

Shift: 2nd shift: 2:50pm-11pm Monday-Friday possible OT on Saturday

What's the Job?

• Perform in-line inspections and leak testing to ensure quality standards are met
• Document repair welds and conduct repairs as needed to maintain product integrity
• Operate machines or manual tools safely to meet production goals
• Assess welds for cleanliness and compliance with customer specifications
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address and resolve welding issues

What's Needed?

• Graduation from related trade school or a high school diploma/GED with 1-3 years of relevant experience
• 1-3 years of TIG welding experience, with a strong preference for aluminum welding skills
• Ability to evaluate metal structures and identify repair needs
• Proficiency in measuring with close tolerances (Metric & Imperial)
• Experience using small tools, air/hand tools, welders, grinders, and buffing machines
