Anton Installers Inc. is a full-service industrial contractor specializing in millwright services, welding and fabrication, process and sanitary piping, equipment installations, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and custom industrial solutions. We serve customers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the surrounding region.

We are seeking a motivated Welder/Fitter who enjoys both shop fabrication and field installation work. This position is approximately 50% shop fabrication and 50% field work, offering a variety of projects and opportunities for growth.

ResponsibilitiesShop Duties (Approximately 50%)

• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication prints, and construction drawings.
• Lay out, fit, and weld structural steel, miscellaneous metals, process piping components, and custom fabricated assemblies.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders, plasma cutting equipment, and other shop machinery.
• Fabricate platforms, stairs, handrails, equipment supports, guards, and custom industrial components.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with material handling, inventory control, and shop organization.
• Work safely and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Field Duties (Approximately 50%, and $3.00 Increase from Shop Rate)

• Install structural steel, platforms, stairs, handrails, equipment supports, and miscellaneous metals.
• Perform field welding, fitting, modifications, and repairs.
• Install, modify, and repair process piping and sanitary piping systems in industrial, food-grade, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing environments.
• Fit, align, and weld stainless steel process piping and sanitary tubing to customer specifications and applicable industry standards.
• Install valves, pumps, supports, hangers, and related piping components.
• Assist with machinery installations, conveyor systems, production equipment, and industrial systems.
• Perform field measurements, layout work, and troubleshooting to support installation activities.
• Safely operate forklifts, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and other jobsite equipment.
• Travel to customer locations throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and surrounding areas as required.
• Work directly with customers, supervisors, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment while representing Anton Installers Inc. on customer job sites.

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 3 years of welding and fitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication, piping, and construction drawings.
• Proficiency in all welding processes.
• Experience using common fabrication and installation tools.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

• TIG and Stick welding experience.
• Experience with stainless steel process piping and sanitary piping systems.
• Structural steel fabrication and installation experience.
• Industrial construction or millwright experience.
• Forklift, aerial lift, OSHA 10/30, NCCER, or welding certifications.
• Experience operating CNC plasma cutting and fabrication equipment.
