**Summary **
The Welder is responsible for transforming parts and components into high‑quality weldments that meet Pro‑Cise, Inc. standards and customer specifications. This position requires proficiency in welding, fitting, blueprint interpretation, inspection, and the use of fabrication equipment. The Welder supports safe, efficient production operations through skilled craftsmanship, attention to detail, and adherence to ISO procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fit and weld components or sub‑assemblies with minimal supervision, using established welding processes and techniques.
Produce weldments that meet quality, dimensional, and efficiency standards based on manufacturing drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
Interpret blueprints and use measurement/inspection tools, including tape measures, squares, protractors, and weld gauges.
Perform TIG and GMAW welding on ferrous and non‑ferrous metals, as required for customer projects.
Assist in fixture design and fabrication as needed.
Complete all required labor reporting, work order documentation, and proper identification of work in process.
Follow ISO procedures and safety programs, including PPE requirements and equipment operation guidelines.
Operate forklifts, jib cranes, hoists, and other lifting devices safely and efficiently.
Assist in training and mentoring new welders or team members.
Successfully pass required welding certification tests, including those needed for specific customer contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company objectives.

**Education and/or Experience **
Technical Diploma in Welding preferred.
OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of four (4) years of welding experience and/or related training.
Must meet Pro‑Cise, Inc. welding qualification requirements and pass applicable certification tests.
AWS D1.1 certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Forklift and lifting‑device operation certification (company‑provided).

Frequently required to walk; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
