We manufacture standard machines as well as a lot of unique custom engineered testing equipment.We are currently seeking a full-time Mig Welder/Fabricator. In this role the MIG Welder/Fabricator must have with a minimum of 5 years' experience. The MIG Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for welding and fabrication for our customized machinery. Responsibilities:• Fabrication of machines and equipment.• Operate machines and tools such as grinders, band saws, plasma cutters, mag drills, handheld drills, levels, squares, welders, etc.• Repair/retrofit used equipment per engineering specifications.• Perform various work from blueprints and drawings. Qualifications:• High school diploma or equivalent.• Fabrication experience is a must.• Ability to read and work from blueprints and drawings.• Knowledge of set-up and usage of MIG and TIG welders.• Knowledge of measuring device usage.• Knowledge of hand tools.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.• Ability to operate lift equipment.• Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Beneficial/preferred:• Welding certification preferred, but not required• Minimum 3-5 years of machine fabrication experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.• Experience working with sheet metal.
