Streamline is immediately hiring a TIG/MIG Welder for our Colleyville, Texas location. Along with general fab shop task you will be helping build/assemble robot work cells, end of arm tools for robots, racks and fixtures for AMRs (autonomous mobile robots), and other project related task.
· Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum and other metal components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
· Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
· Set up and operate TIG welding equipment, including selecting proper filler materials and shielding gases.
· Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, and fitting components.
· Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
· Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
· Perform fabrication, fitting, and finishing as needed.
· Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
· Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Collaborate with engineering teams to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
· Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
· Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and thin-gauge materials.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.
· Strong understanding of welding procedures, metallurgy, and fabrication techniques.
· Experience using measuring instruments including calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
· Ability to produce clean, high-quality welds with minimal defects.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
· Must be dependable and committed to maintaining attendance standards.
