We are looking for experienced Material Handlers for a Greenville, SC area manufacturing operations site.  In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, staging, and transporting raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout various areas of the manufacturing process, including welding, paint, roll form, and unit production. This role ensures continuous material flow to prevent production delays and supports safe, efficient plant operations.  Responsibilities
  • Load and unload raw materials, fabricated components, and finished products at designated production stations (weld, paint, roll form, assembly/unit production).
  • Stage materials and parts to support upcoming production runs and maintain workflow continuity.
  • Transport materials between departments using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, or other material handling equipment.
  • Remove completed parts from production lines and transfer to next process or storage location.
  • Inspect materials for visible damage or defects prior to loading or movement.
  • Verify part numbers, labels, and quantities to ensure accuracy before staging or distribution.
  • Maintain proper organization of materials, racks, pallets, and staging areas.
  • Follow 5S and lean manufacturing practices to promote efficiency and workplace organization.
  • Communicate material shortages or workflow concerns to supervisors or team leads.
  • Support production operators as needed to maintain throughput and minimize downtime.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Basic understanding of production processes such as welding, painting, roll forming, or assembly preferred.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs safely and consistently.
 Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain within first 30 days.
  • Experience working in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment is a plus.
 Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily based on the production floor within a manufacturing facility. The position involves exposure to machinery, welding operations, paint processes, moving equipment, and industrial noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, and hearing protection is required. Shift: 5am to 3:30pm Monday-FridayPay: $17.55
