We are seeking a Weights & Research Inspector - Day Shift with at least 4 years of work or military experience.
Minimum qualifications include the ability to explain and document classification corrections, working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, research skills using internet keywords, and effective communication.
Preferred qualifications involve a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of NMFC provisions, and experience in weights, inspections, or LTL industry.
Pay starts at $26.39, with full health benefits from day one, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, and education assistance.
Responsibilities include reviewing inspection reports, conducting shipment inspections with handheld devices, verifying BOL and billing, gathering shipment data, researching commodity info, issuing correction documents, and uploading images.
Physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, reaching, bending, climbing, and other movements.
